EXCELLENCE YOU CAN TRUST
The Oaks Dog Ranch Trainers are all recognized as a Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed.
The Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT) is the leading independent certifying organization for the dog training profession. The CCPDT is the leader in the development of rigorous exams to demonstrate mastery of humane, science-based dog training practices.

All of our Trainers embrace the positive reinforcement-reward based training. It was once widely accepted that training dogs to behave required a firm and and a dominant state of mind. As the study of animal behavior has advanced, more dog trainers and behaviorists are embracing the force-free and positive reinforcement methods.

The Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers® (CCPDT®), established in 2001, the leader in the development of rigorous exams to demonstrate mastery of humane, science-based dog training practices. Thousands of dog training professionals worldwide maintain the CCPDT's certifications as a mark of high professional distinction.
Unfortunately, the dog training industry is unregulated. Which means ANYONE can claim to be a professional dog trainer, but not just anyone has the knowledge or education needed to train your dogs effectively. The CCPDT is actively trying to work towards regulating this industry. You can be assured that your CPDT-KA training professional upholds the highest standards in the dog training industry. Choosing to work with a Certified Professional Dog Trainer confirms your commitment to working with a trainer who is dedicated to education, remains current in the advances in training and demonstrates a proficient level of knowledge.
From the wise words of another worldwide known CPDT-KA trainer-
"Using force to change the behavior and feelings of another sentient being is not power.
It is an abject demonstration of one's lack of power"
- Matt Beisner 'The Zen Dog' (Host of Dog: Impossible on Disney+
& Nat Geo Wild)
