PLAY STYLE ASSESSMENT
Our Improvement On "The Temperament Test"
Your dog's "temperament" is only one component to our understanding your dog and developing the best play day program we can.
Our Play Style Assessment consists of:

a comprehensive in-person evaluation of personality, what kind of play, training and type, and level of activity will meet your dog's daily enrichment needs
-
a close observation of your dog's response to the identified play day program he/she will enjoy for the rest of the day.
We never turn away dogs based on breed, but rather rely on our professionally-conducted, comprehensive play style assessment to inform us about their temperament, reactivity, behavior, level of socialization and play styles. At our discretion, dogs that are not candidates for large group play, but that are safely socialized with people, and not aggressively reactive to other dogs may enjoy play days with us and receive one-on-one playtime with our Ranch Hands; however, we will restrict dog-to-dog interactions.
Play Style Assessment guests must be at least six months old, on tick and flea prevention, and up to date on Rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. Dogs over six months old must be spayed/neutered.
Should your dog need a Bordetella vaccination, we can do that here for $30 which we will charge to your account.
Are your pet’s shots up to date? You can update their records by emailing us a copy at info@theoaksdogranch.com or by having your vet email them to us prior to check in.
Upon arrival and throughout the day, Ranch Hands will check your pet for fleas and ticks. If any are found, we will treat your pet immediately and notify you. Treatment costs will be charged to your account.
Play Style Assessment are conducted Tuesday's, Wednesday's, and Thursday's with an approved reservation. Drop off is 6 to 7:30 a.m. and pick up is 4 to 7 p.m. Some blackout periods will apply during peak times. Due to limited availability, non-refundable prepayment is required when reservation is approved. Additional fees will apply if a reschedule or cancellation occurs within 3 days of approved reservation.
